Mango named after Sachin!

Some Indian aggi scientist has named a new variety of mango after the country's record-breaking batsman Sachin Tendulkar in honor of his success.  The scientist said that the Sachin mango will not go on sale because, "Our Sachin is a world hero and he is priceless and not a saleable commodity."  WTF??

India: Obesity and malnutrition are the leading killers!

Another stark contrast.  While more than half the nation's children are hungry and emaciated, the rich are lining up at the doc to pare their gut lard.  Economic growth has resulted in enormous gut expansion for the urban migrants.   Every sixth diabetic in the world is an Indian making the country  "the world's diabetes capital."

Bottom line:  Obesity and malnutrition are the leading causes of death in India.  Soon, the dirt-wallowing politicians of the country must frame future campaign messages for the hungry, and their obese ilk. More confusion for the confused nation.
